“My wife and I decided that as we aged into our retirement years we wanted build an addition on our 1960 bungalow. Our vision was to have the addition extend out from our dining room into the backyard.
We knew that this was going to be a major renovation and it was something that could be very risky if we did not find the right company to take on such a major project. So the search began for that company and General Contractor.
The process of finding a reputable contractor, turned out to be a difficult, frustrating and a drawn out process. After experiencing many setbacks we thought our dream of having our new addition was never going to happen.
However fate would have us find a company not known to us called van-Built. We met with the owner and General Contractor Shane. Shane was extremely attentive to our wants, needs, expectations and budget.
Shane exceeded our expectations and then some. He is a very hands on General Contractor. He proved to us he has a high level skill set in so many of the trades needed to complete this renovation. Shane is meticulous and a true craftsman. He truly cares about his workmanship but more importantly his customers. He is a true professional.
Our addition took about 4 months to complete and was on budget. After more than 1 year we have had no problems thus far. Thanks to van-Built our retirement dream was granted.
